With over 30 years of travel experience and more than 500,000 miles logged across the highways and back roads of the United States — and many countries abroad — I bring a true traveler’s insight to every journey I plan. My love for travel began early with my first Internationls trip at 16. By 19, I was traveling to a new city or small town each week teaching summer camps. At 23, I set out on an unforgettable backpacking adventure through Europe, exploring the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Spain — an experience that ignited a lifelong passion for adventure.
While the world has changed since those pre-9/11 days, my love for exploration and helping others experience it has only grown stronger. Whether you're planning a family getaway, a group adventure, or a dream vacation, I’m here to treat you like family and deliver personalized, world-class service every step of the way.

Meri Grace grew up in Lake Village, Arkansas & Washington Court House, Ohio. She is recently married and now resides in Dry Ridge, Kentucky with her husband Ben on their family farm. Meri Grace was a teacher previously but has a passion for travel and looks forward to this new career. She has traveled to the majority of the US states and 4 different countries including Haiti on a mission trip and most recently St. Lucia for her honeymoon. While a student at the University of Kentucky in the College of Agriculture, Meri Grace had the opportunity to travel on numerous occasions throughout the south, midwest, and northeast through professional activities. Meri Grace is attentive to detail, creative, and has a strong desire to help others. Her past experiences combined with her patient "teacher" demeanor, will make her an exceptional addition to our team! Rene' Offenberger

My name is Rene’ Offenberger. I’ve been married to my husband, Terry, for 32 years, and together we’ve built a life full of family, fun, and adventure. We have two wonderful daughters, Maddie and Erin, who have shared in many of our travel experiences over the years. When I’m not planning trips, you’ll find me enjoying music, spending time with family, cheering on my favorite sports teams, attending University of Dayton basketball games, or boating on the lakes of Tennessee—one of our favorite getaways.
As a retired educator with a lifelong love of language, culture, and adventure, I bring both passion and experience to my role as a travel advisor. During my teaching career, I taught Spanish, computer skills, and English as a Second Language—connecting with students from all walks of life and helping them discover new perspectives.
My fascination with travel began in high school when I journeyed to Spain with my Spanish teacher and a group of classmates. That eye-opening experience planted the seed for what I hoped would one day become a career in travel and tourism. Although I ultimately chose the classroom over the travel industry at the time—partly due to hesitation about relocating to a big city where such careers were more common—I never lost my love for exploring new places.
Over the years, I’ve continued to feed my travel bug by exploring destinations with my family, joining my daughters on their school trips, and leading 8th-grade students on educational tours to Washington, DC. Now, in retirement, I’m thrilled to combine my educational background with my passion for travel as a travel advisor for Country Layne Adventures and as the owner of 2 Teachers Travel—a company that organizes and leads memorable student tours to Washington, DC in partnership with local schools.
Whether it's helping students discover the nation's capital or working with families to plan their next adventure, I’m excited to use my knowledge, enthusiasm, and firsthand experience to help others make meaningful travel memories. Through Country Layne Adventures, I get to turn my love for travel into a fulfilling second career.

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming. I contacted Country Layne Travel and Angie took care of everything for us! We stayed at The Virginian Inn which had a restaurant and burger joint on sight. They both had delicious food and great service. The hotel was clean and up to date. We celebrated our 50th anniversary on three Hawaiian Islands with the expertise of Country Layne Travel. We had 11 family members travelling and with Angie's help we had a wonderful time with lots of memories made. We were there for 2 weeks and Angie not only booked air flight, resorts, and transportatioin, she also gave us recommendations for excursions, activities, and places to eat on each island. Angie was very professional and knowledgeable. We were in constant communication and Angie was able to answer any questions that we had. Angie did a wonderful job for us on our trip to Hawaii. She booked flights, hotel, and rental car for us. She called a few times to check on us and helped with one reservation minor problem. I would highly recommend her for any travel bookings.
Angie is the best! She helped us plan our honeymoon to Excellence Punta Cana (Adult Only) Resort! She made it so easy for us and helped explain all the perks and question we had while planning! I’m so happy she recommended us getting the club and spending the little extra for it! It made such a difference with getting those extra perks!
What a wonderful trip we had. The travel company is wonderful to work with. Each day is planned and all information is added on the travel app. Each hotel is carefully chosen according to our needs and we never have to worry about where we are staying. Suggestions on things to do and places to eat are also added to the websites as well as mapping for each location. I would recommend Country Layne travel for any trip big or small.
